Stella receives 2016 Ralph Norgren Junior Faculty Research Scholar Award
Salvatore Stella, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neural & Behavioral Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine, was the recipient of the 2016 Ralph Norgren Junior Faculty Research Scholar Award.
The award is named for Dr. Ralph Norgren, who retired in 2014 after 31 years studying taste at the College of Medicine.
Stella will receive funding based on his project titled “The Role of GABAergic Signaling Mechanisms in the Outer Retina.”
