Susan McHale presents Fall 2021 Dean’s Lecture
Susan McHale, PhD, presented the Fall 2021 Penn State College of Medicine Dean’s Lecture, speaking on “Family Relationships and Well-being: The Roles of Gender and Culture.” The lecture was presented virtually Oct. 12 and recorded for later viewing.
McHale, Distinguished Professor of Human Development and Professor of Demography, is a developmental psychologist with interests in bio psychosocial processes in human behavior, health and development across the lifespan.
Her collaborative research focuses on youth development from childhood through young adulthood and highlights the roles of gendered family dynamics and sociocultural context in well being and development.
McHale is also an Associate Director of Penn State’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
