United Way helps workers, builds stronger community

Jade had a job but lacked reliable transportation. She worked from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., and walking home after work wasn’t safe.

But thanks to United Way and its Road to Success program, she was able to purchase a car.

“Transportation has really helped Jade out,” says Trinity, Jade’s case manager. “She’s more motivated, more confident. She’s even up for a promotion at work.”
