Watch Aug. 29 Town Hall replay for Hampden and Holy Spirit medical centers and West Shore Life Lion

Individuals who were not able to join the West Shore Region Town Hall on Aug. 29 can access the replay here. Get updates about the region’s strong financial performance in the last half of the 2023 fiscal year, and Hampden and Holy Spirit medical center happenings, including a recent feature story on the nurse-run Penn State Health Medical Outreach Service in Allison Hill. Kyle Snyder, interim regional president, Hampden and Holy Spirit medical centers, provided an update about the Penn State Health strategic journey. He highlighted the new radiology scheduling optimization tool, which has resulted in many more patients securing MRI and CT services sooner, added net revenue and improved patient satisfaction. The optimization project demonstrates the strength of system collaboration to solve a common problem.

Dr. Safa Farzin, senior vice president, Penn State Health Medical Group, reported on the Medical Group’s optimization priorities, service alignment in the Harrisburg Metro Region, recruitment and workforce plans and strong patient experience scores.
