White Rose Hosts First Blood Drive
Penn State Health Medical Group ― White Rose in York held its first blood drive on Aug. 19. Twenty-four employees, patients and community members ― some of them first-timer donors ― gave 16 pints of blood, which the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank says will be able to save 48 lives. Becci Stair, a licensed practical nurse, led the drive and plans to have another in December.

Performance Appraisals Due Saturday
Tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 31, is the final day for Penn State Health managers to complete performance appraisals in Pulse/Lawson myHR. Manager appraisals are to be entered, finalized and acknowledged by employees in Pulse/Lawson myHR. Managers can access step-by-step instructions and resources for completing performance reviews by going to mySolutions and searching “Performance and Goals.”
Retail food service hours of operation at Hershey to change for Labor Day
Retail food service at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center will change for the Labor Day holiday. Details here.
Innovation Café
Penn State Center for Medical Innovation will host the Innovation Café on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cocoa Beanery, 1215 Research Boulevard in Hershey. The Innovation Café is a regional networking event focused on expanding and sustaining the central Pennsylvania entrepreneurial ecosystem. Register here.
