Medical Center and College of Medicine go ‘Red For Women’
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States. On Friday, Feb. 3, physicians and staff from Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine donned red in recognition of National Wear Red Day. The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Campaign and National Wear Red Day are designed to raise awareness of the prevalence of heart disease in women. Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute is the sponsor of the Go Red for Women campaign in the Capital Region.
