Local gamers of all levels and from all categories — including console, mobile, PC and table top — will unite for one cause on Saturday, Nov. 3: to save and improve the lives of kids treated at Penn State Children’s Hospital.
For weeks, a pair of plain white steel beams have been collecting signatures of patients, staff, students, volunteers, donors and community members. On Oct. 24, the beams were hoisted into the air by a crane, then carefully lowered and guided into place atop Penn State Children’s Hospital.
Spirit of Children is making hospital stays more pleasant for kids and their families by raising funds to support Child Life programs at hospitals in local communities, including Penn State Children’s Hospital.
It hurts to think about anyone sexually abusing a child. But far too often, people don’t know what to do if they suspect a child is being harmed in such a manner. Whose responsibility is it to say something? And where can they turn?
