The seventh annual Penn State College of Medicine Innovation Awards ceremony will be 5 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, and will recognizes individuals who have had innovative ideas move forward through the execution of a license agreement, received a patent or formed a start-up company based on Penn State technology.

StudyFinder expands to include more research studies seeking volunteers

More research studies recruiting at Penn State are now searchable at StudyFinder, an online database that connects interested volunteers with the variety of studies University researchers are conducting.

The PaTH to Health diabetes study team received the Outstanding Collaborative Research Award for 2017 at Penn State College of Medicine. Members of the study team are pictured with Dean A. New graduate student training program focuses on big data

A new $2.4 million program for graduate students seeking to contribute to breakthrough discoveries in medicine and biology by using "big data" has been established at Penn State, with nearly $1.4 million in funding from the National Library of Medicine of the U.S. National Institutes of Health and more than $1 million from the University.
