Zoom users at Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine must update to version 5.0 before May 30. The new version requires hosts to assign a new host when they leave a Zoom meeting.

Penn State Health today announced it will begin to gradually and systematically resume standard patient appointments, non-emergent surgical procedures and other clinical activities after nearly two months of restrictions due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Reports of suspected child abuse have declined in Pennsylvania since the onset of social distancing guidelines. But experts in the Penn State Center for the Protection of Children say this does not correlate with an actual decline in abuse cases.
Eligible registered nurses at Hershey Medical Center are invited to participate in the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators RN Practice Environment Survey. The survey is open now through May 24.

Penn State Health and College of Medicine employees are welcome to pick up supplemental food boxes provided by the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank on May 7 and May 21 at the 175 Crystal A Drive Fitness Center in Hershey.
Penn State Health St. Joseph opened a curbside chest X-ray service at the medical center’s main entrance at 2500 Bernville Road on May 4. This new service is part of its continued efforts to ensure patient safety during the coronavirus pandemic.
