University Park students participate in Homecoming Parade

A group of 24 medical students, faculty, staff and family members from the University Park Curriculum participated in the 2018 Penn State University Homecoming Parade held Oct. 12, 2018.

The Homecoming Parade, which begins at Penn State University Park and continues through downtown State College, Pa., unites students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members across the Penn State community in an annual celebration of Penn State pride.

The University Park Curriculum is part of Penn State College of Medicine’s MD program. Students in the curriculum complete a four-year degree in State College, working in collaboration with Mount Nittany Health.

The innovative curriculum integrates basic science education and clinical study to prepare students for the ongoing practice of evidence-based medicine in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
