Dynamed tool gets a refresh
EBSCO Information Services recently refreshed its clinical decision support tool, DynaMed, which is available to those affiliated with Penn State College of Medicine through Harrell Health Sciences Library.
In August 2019, EBSCO released an enhanced product with new features, replacing all older versions of DynaMed and DynaMed Plus. With this change, users may have noticed some updates on the library’s website. DynaMed Plus has been renamed DynaMed, but includes the features to which users are accustomed with the former DynaMed Plus.
With these changes, users may want to make some updates to their personal links to DynaMed.
First, any users should ensure they have the most recent DynaMed app. The app might have updated on its own but, if not, can be updated through the app store on the mobile or tablet device.
Also, users who have manually linked to DynaMed from the Connected EMR tool will need to update their links. To do so, users can click the down arrow at the end of the toolbar and select “Customize,” then choose DynaMed from the list of custom links and click “Modify.” The URL to add is https://www.dynamed.com.
