Rosado, who has worked at St. Joseph for 16 years, actively supports the health care needs of the Latino community in a variety of ways.

“During the pandemic, Gloria organized a group of professional friends to sew cloth face masks and distribute them, free of charge, to essential health care workers, such as Reading police and firefighters, nursing home patients and our patients in need, before Gov. Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health mandated the use of masks,” said Marlin Jusino Bobé, a social worker at St. Joseph Downtown Campus.

Rosado’s outreach to the Latino community includes serving as a founding member and treasurer of Latina Gathering; a planning committee member for La Belleza de Nuestra Salud (The Beauty of Our Health) Latina Health Fair; a planning committee member for El Poder del Rosado (The Power of Pink) hosted by Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County; a member of the Berks County Health Education Advisory Committee; and a member of the Berks County Child and Adolescent Service System Program advisory committee.
