Great Medicine Unplugged concert series to feature work of Brahms
As part of its Great Music Unplugged concert series, Penn State College of Medicine’s Department of Humanities and The Doctors Kienle Center for Humanistic Medicine will host “Brahms: In Search of Lost Time – Remembrance of Things Past” 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2, 2019, in the College’s Lecture Room D.
The event is open to all College of Medicine and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center faculty, staff, students and their guests. A community dinner will be served following the concert.
The performance will feature the work of musicians Peter Sirotin, Harrisburg Symphony Concertmaster; Ya-Ting Chang, Director of Market Square Concerts; and Geoffrey Pilkington, Principal Horn of the Kennedy Center’s Washington National Opera. The event will also feature the Steinway D concert grand piano donated by Keith Cheng, PhD, and Shou Ling Leong, MD, both of Penn State College of Medicine.
