MPH student earns University’s Professional Master’s Excellence Award

Elizabeth Krajan, a Master of Public Health candidate at Penn State College of Medicine, was awarded a Professional Master's Excellence Award by the The Graduate School of Penn State. She is one of four students to receive the award, which recognizes academic excellence and includes a $2,500 prize.

Krajan is enrolled in the Community and Behavioral Health track and is also pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Global Health. As part of her studies, she served as an intern with a nonprofit organization in Morocco called Maison de Santé Albalsam (MSA) as her culminating experience. Krajan worked with a general practitioner/nutritionist to develop and teach a nutrition education program for children and youth at MSA.
