The College of Medicine has a rich history of research related to women’s health. Many of these research projects were led by women.
For fifty years, women at the College of Medicine have made discoveries that have enhanced knowledge of human health.
Training and mentoring generations of clinicians and researchers is at the core of Penn State College of Medicine’s mission. From the beginning, the College of Medicine has trained top leaders in health care, research and education.
Since it was founded, the College of Medicine has counted service to the community among its goals. Female members of the faculty have championed community-based research and have teamed up with community partners to help improve local lives.
