Patients say thank you at Cubby Care and Lion Care Awards
Winners of the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Lion Care Awards were nominated by appreciative patients.

From a physician who arranged a final date night for a cancer patient and his wife to a Housekeeping employee who helped a young girl find her cell phone, Penn State Health employees go above and beyond every day to deliver the highest-quality patient experience. One hundred twelve staff members and teams were nominated by appreciative patients and celebrated at two award ceremonies presented by Patient Experience and the Family Advisory Council.
The Cubby Care Awards honored outstanding Children’s Hospital staff members on Oct. 17, and the Lion Care Awards recognized Milton S. Hershey Medical Center employees on Oct. 24.
