Penn State Health recognized as one of Forbes’ “Best Employers for Diversity”

Penn State Health was recognized as one of the best employers for diversity in the United States by Forbes magazine.

The top 250 “Best Employers for Diversity” were chosen by Forbes based on an independent survey from a vast sample of 30,000 American employees working for firms or institutions with 1,000 or more employees. The employees were not consulted via their employers but anonymously through several online panels. This allowed employees to openly state opinions without any influence from their employers. The survey was conducted using an online access panel, providing a representative sample of employees.

The evaluation was then based on employees’ direct recommendations, indirect recommendations, as well as diversity among top executives or boards and selected diversity key performance indicators.
