Task force provides safe work guidelines
A task force made up of members from Operational Excellence, Employee Health, Safety, Facilities and Human Resources have been working together to support the operational, physical and sanitization needs and recovery of the Penn State Health system and the College of Medicine. Considerations and guidance are being developed to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and students, whether on-site or virtually.
Employees in patient care settings have returned to or continue to work at on-site locations across the health system. Research lab employees began returning to the College of Medicine in a phased approach last week. Remote work continues where possible for non-clinical employees.
