Penn State College of Medicine holds commencement ceremony

Penn State College of Medicine held its 44th annual commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 18. In all, 133 medical students and 68 graduate students received degrees. Claire Pomeroy, MD, M.B.A., president of the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation, delivered the commencement address. Pomeroy serves as chief executive officer of the Foundation and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of programs which advance the Foundation's mission to “foster the prevention and treatment of disease and disability by honoring excellence in basic and clinical science, and through public education and research advocacy.”
