Four superheroes ‘drop in' on patients at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital

Four famed superheroes banded together for their most important mission of the year: to bring smiles to the faces of children at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

Batman, Captain America, Spiderman and Superman today rappelled down the side of the hospital to the cheers of children, their families and other onlookers. After reaching the bottom, the superheroes greeted their fans with fist-bumps and high-fives, and posed for photos.

Typically, these superheroes are mild-mannered window-washers with Harrisburg-based Northeastern Building Maintenance.

This marked the fifth consecutive year in which the “superhero window washers” have visited the Children's Hospital.
