Giving is always in fashion: Annual event raises money for Children’s Miracle Network

The 12th annual Neiman Marcus Runway Show and Luncheon event on Dec. 13 at the Hotel Hershey raised a record-breaking $143,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State

A model walks the runway at the 2019 Neiman Marcus Runway Show and Luncheon, which raised $143,000 for the Hummingbird Program at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.

Children’s Hospital. The funds will specifically benefit the Hummingbird Program, which provides physical, social and emotional support for patients with complex, life-limiting medical conditions.

This year’s runway show featured holiday trends. The program included remarks by event chair and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Board Member Jeanne Arnold, and Megan Leinbach, mother of Ryder, a Hummingbird patient who passed away from a serious brain injury in October at the age of 9.

In 12 years, the Neiman Marcus Runway Show and Luncheon has raised $1,076,056 to support the Hummingbird Program thanks to the generosity of the Arnolds, sponsors and guests.
