Gov. Wolf visits Penn State Health dedicated vaccination site

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam toured Penn State Health’s dedicated vaccination site in Hershey Friday morning.

After the tour, Jeanette Gibbs, senior vice president of ambulatory services at Penn State Health, and Dr. William Curry, a family medicine physician in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, joined Wolf to talk with the media about the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

“Getting vaccinated is critically important. It is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against COVID, which can cause suffering, long-term side effects or even death,” Curry said. “Vaccines are safe and effective, and I urge everyone to get one as soon as they are able.”
