Penn State Health is requiring all employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccine or a medical or religious accommodation. The new deadline to receive a first dose of a vaccine or apply for an accommodation is Thursday, Jan. 27.

With the surge in COVID-19 cases from the contagious omicron variant and per guidance from the CDC, Penn State Health has adopted new return-to-work strategies for COVID-19 positive, symptomatic and exposed employees.
All patients, visitors, staff and students, regardless of whether they are vaccinated, must now wear a medical-grade, level 1 mask within every Penn State Health facility.
