We’re halfway through the Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine 2020 United Way campaign.
Penn State Health CEO Steve Massini announced that, later this week, Penn State Health and Geisinger will officially execute our agreement to transfer Holy Spirit to Penn State Health effective Sunday, Nov. 1.
While it got dicey from time to time, Penn State Health’s systemwide Supply Chain met the pandemic head-on, with a collective resolve that said, “Yes, we can.”

Penn State Health St. Joseph will offer COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Nov. 4 at its Downtown Campus at 145 N. 6th Street in Reading.
Hershey Medical Center has extended COVID-19 testing hours for critical employees and those with whom they live who show symptoms of coronavirus. Beginning tomorrow, Oct. 31, evening and weekend testing is available.
Effective 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, ownership of Holy Spirit Health System will transfer from Geisinger to Penn State Health. The transfer of ownership of the Camp Hill-based health system includes a 306-bed hospital and 28 outpatient locations across four counties.
