Gerber Foundation accepting concept papers for pediatric nutrition research

The Gerber Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of infants and young children, with an emphasis on children younger than three years old.

To that end, the foundation is accepting applications for research projects aimed at identifying solutions to common issues and problems in the field of children’s health and nutrition.

The primary focus, supported by more than 70 percent of the foundation’s grants, is applied research focused on health and nutritional issues affecting infants and young children. Of particular interest are those projects offering a substantial promise of meaningful advances in prevention and treatment of diseases and those with broad applicability to the general population.

Concept papers are due May 15 and Nov. 15 of each year.

Investigators who plan to apply for this funding opportunity must contact Jessica Kiely, Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations, at jkiely@pennstatehealth.psu.edu or 717-531-8497.

Note that all proposals must be submitted through the Office of Research Affairs and adhere to review/submission timelines.
