Harrell Library launches digital book displays
Increased restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic has meant fewer patrons have had the opportunity to visit the Harrell Health Sciences Library and browse the latest book displays.
To mitigate this issue, the Harrell Library is bringing the book displays to the patrons through online “virtual display cases.”
Now, patrons can peruse the featured readings remotely. Take a few minutes to browse the Black History Month display of graphic novels and the most recent exhibit for History of Nursing, which is currently on display inside the library.
These virtual exhibits were created as a collaboration between library staffer Sharon Daugherty, the library’s multimedia specialist Eliza Donne, Harrell Library librarians and photographer Jason Plotkin.
