Kristin Eckert presents Fall 2022 Dean’s Lecture

Kristin Eckert, PhD, presented the Fall 2022 Penn State College of Medicine Dean’s Lecture, speaking on “Keeping the Complex Human Genome Stable: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Research Discovery and Clinical Translation.” The lecture was presented virtually and in-person at Junker Auditorium on Oct. 11 and recorded for later viewing.

Eckert is a tenured professor of pathology and biochemistry and molecular biology at Penn State. She has held numerous leadership roles within the College of Medicine and Penn State, and currently serves as Chief of the Division Experimental Pathology, Vice Chair of Research for Pathology, and Associate Director for Cancer Research Training and Education for Penn State Cancer Institute.

Her research embraces interdisciplinary collaborations to discover how the human genome is replicated in a highly efficient and accurate manner.
