New artwork on display in library study lounge
Harrell Health Sciences Library’s second-floor study lounge recently received a refresh with the installment of a mural with calm natural landscapes.
The theme of the piece, “Reverie” by artist Erica Harney, is based on feedback from College of Medicine students. The second-floor study lounge is for quiet study, and the hope is that the mural will add to the quiet, calming atmosphere for learners.
The mural can be seen from the second-floor bridge between the Biomedical Research building and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
This project is the result of a partnership between Harrell Health Sciences Library and Center Stage, a program of the Department of Humanities at Penn State College of Medicine.
