Mammogram Screening Day scheduled for Penn State Health, Penn State College of Medicine employees and students Oct. 28

Female employees and students of Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine who are age 40 and older are encouraged to schedule a mammogram on Tuesday, Oct. 28 during Mammogram Screening Day. Routine mammograms are an important part of preventive care and can help detect breast cancer early, when it’s most treatable.

Screenings will be available at the following locations:

• Penn State Health Breast Center, Hershey | 5–8 p.m.
• Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center | 3:30–7:30 p.m.
• Penn State Health Lime Spring Outpatient Center | 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center | 7 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Register in advance to schedule an appointment. Women under 40 must check with their insurance provider for coverage before signing up.
