MD/PhD student featured as entrepreneur of the month

Penn State College of Medicine MD/PhD student Olivier Noel was recently highlighted by Penn State Dickinson Law as the Entrepreneur of the Month.

Noel, who is CEO of DNAsimple, is a student in Penn State College of Medicine’s MD/PhD Medical Scientist Training Program. Noel’s company, DNAsimple, was featured on the TV show Shark Tank, where it received a $200,000 investment from billionaire investor Mark Cuban.

Noel was also featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 list and named a top young entrepreneur by Philadelphia Business Journal (subscription required to view Business Journal story).
