Penn State Health Muhlenberg Outpatient Center opens new facility
The Penn State Health Muhlenberg Outpatient Center will open its primary care practice in a new facility on Monday, Feb. 24. The newly renovated 11,400-square-foot facility is at 4301 N. 5th Street Highway, Temple, Pa., one mile north of its former Muhlenberg Township location. Urgent care and other outpatient services will open on Sunday, March 8.
The new outpatient center will feature expanded urgent care hours weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other walk-in services include WorkCare (i.e., occupational health), EKG, lab and X-ray, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. Physical therapy will be available by appointment at 610-208-8801.
Penn State Health Muhlenberg Outpatient Center will host a grand opening events on Saturday, March 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Local residents will have the opportunity to meet the doctors and staff, learn about the new services and tour the expanded primary care and urgent care spaces.
