Penn State Health Reimagined training begins June 1

Training on the new system behind Penn State Health Reimagined begins in June to help prepare and support employees who will start using it in July.

Penn State Health Reimagined will unify business systems and processes. Powered by the Infor Cloud Suite platform, Reimagined will streamline the operations and systems of Finance, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management.

Launch dates are:

  • Finance and Supply Chain, Thursday, July 1
  • Workforce Management (WFM), Sunday, July 18
  • Human Resources and Expense Management modules Thursday, July 22.

Most employees (those who are not in the Finance, Human Resources or Supply Chain groups) will review job aids and complete several self-paced e-learning courses. Others, will complete additional training courses based on roles and responsibilities prior to the new system going live. Employees who require instructor led training have already received invitations to those sessions, and can complete it at their own pace.

Below is an overview what’s provided in Compass.

Training based on roles and responsibilities:

  • Finance and Supply Chain – Training available Tuesday, June 1
    • Requisition Self-Service (RSS) – e-learning for basic requestors (Duration: one hour, 15 minutes)
    • Advanced Requisition Processing – e-learning for power requestors (Duration: two hours)
    • Managing Workflow Approvals – e-learning for those with financial authority (Duration: 30 minutes)
  • Timekeeping and Payroll – Training available Monday, June 28
    • Workforce Management (WFM) for Non-exempt Employees – e-learning for non-exempt employees (Duration: 30 minutes)
    • WFM for Exempt Employees – e-learning for exempt employees (Duration: 30 minutes)
    • WFM for Supervisors – e-learning for all supervisors (Duration: one hour, 30 minutes)
  • Human Resources – Training available Monday, June 28
    • Several e-learning courses will be available starting June 28; not considered critical to be completed prior to go-live but can be taken as schedule allows

Human Resources will share additional information and resources in the coming weeks. Employees should work with their supervisors to complete training tasks relevant to their roles.
