A College of Medicine-led study found that women with obesity and unexplained infertility who lost weight prior to starting infertility treatments did not have a greater chance of having a healthy baby than those who did not lose weight prior to starting therapy.

Penn State Health is requiring all employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccine or a medical or religious accommodation. The new deadline to receive a first dose of a vaccine or apply for an accommodation is Thursday, Jan. 27.

Dee Bagshaw, a program manager at Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), has been appointed the institute’s interim administrative director, where she will lead the operations and staff as they implement the Institute’s strategic vision and plans.
