Parker earns Holy Spirit Medical Center BEE Award

Endang Parker, a nursing assistant for the Float Team, is the recipient of Holy Spirit Medical Center’s BEE (Be Extraordinary Every day) Award for the first quarter of 2022.

Coworkers nominated Parker for the award because she regularly exceeds their expectations, making their jobs easier.

“Endang takes on all assignments with determination and a smile. We can always trust that her work is done appropriately and in a timely manner,” one colleague wrote. “Having her on the floor really makes the difference between a good day and a bad day here. She’s the best!”

Another colleague agreed, noting that Parker stays on top of call bells and tasks without being asked.

“7E runs so much smoother when she is here. She is a great, extraordinary nursing assistant,” she wrote. “She truly makes our jobs as RNs much easier.”

The Nursing Department presents the award four times a year to non-nurse team members, who provide extraordinary care to patients, visitors and each other. Recipients receive a pin, honey, chocolate and a certificate.
