Penn State College of Medicine's Office for a Respectful Learning Environment is honoring exceptional faculty members with a new monthly award program, “Exceptional Moments in Teaching.” The program's first winner is Dr. Karen Krok, a gastroenterologist and hepatologist.

Robert Levenson and Leslie Parent, co-directors of Penn State College of Medicine's MD/PhD Medical Scientist Training Program, were recently named Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). More than 100 Penn State College of Medicine students and postdoctoral scholars examined a variety of career options at the ninth biennial Career Day held Oct. 21, 2017, in Hershey.
