Dr. Peter Dillon will step down as Department of Surgery chair to devote more time to his roles as executive vice president and chief clinical officer at Penn State Health, and vice dean for clinical affairs at the College of Medicine. Dr. Donald Mackay has been named interim chair.

Two new PGY-1 residents joined the Penn State College of Medicine Plastic Surgery Residency in 2017, Jeffrey Fornadley, MD, and Sameer Massand, MD.
