Dr. William Davidson Jr., 1953-2022
Dr. William Davidson Jr. passed away July 7, 2022. Davidson retired earlier in 2022 as professor emeritus of medicine at Penn State College of Medicine.
Davidson graduated medical school from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 after completing a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Delaware. He completed a medical residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in 1982 and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 1985.
At Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine, Davidson founded the Congenital Heart Disease Program in 1991.
