McMinn joins Hershey Medical Center as director, Life Lion Services

Keith McMinn joined Hershey Medical Center as the director of Life Lion Services, which provides 24/7 emergency medical services, critical care transport, community paramedicine and non-emergency transportation to local and regional communities.

McMinn was previously an area manager for Air Methods Corporation in Philadelphia, where he managed base and business operations for JeffSTAT and Temple Critical Care Transport programs supporting health system transfer centers and ground operations.

Life Lion Services became an established department in fall 2020, following 25 years as a division within the Department of Emergency Medicine. The restructuring was a natural evolution due to growth and community integration.

With McMinn on board, leadership has completed the recruitment of key roles through internal promotions, expanded roles and new hires. He joins the newest team members, Life Lion Transport and Post Hospital Manager Brandon Wattai; Life Lion Critical Care Manager Justin Soulier; and Manager for Life Lion Emergency Medical Services, Dauphin and Lebanon Counties, Eric Zaney.

“The Medical Center leadership and Life Lion Services team is deeply appreciative of Kain Robbins’ 12 years of service as the director overseeing Life Lion Operations,” said Michelle Del Pizzo, vice president of operations at Hershey Medical Center.

Robbins will focus solely on emergency medicine as director, emergency medicine operations.
