Share interpretation services with patients and visitors

If you see a patient or visitor who needs assistance with medical interpretation or nonclinical translations, direct them to call your hospital’s Interpreter Services office. This is just one way you can help support Penn State Health’s organizational goal of increasing patient experience scores.

Medical interpretation

Call Interpreter Services to request:

  • A LanguageLine interpreter through video chat or phone.
  • An in-person interpreter. Must be scheduled in advance.
  • Patients should not call LanguageLine directly.
