United Way donors win incentive prizes
Thirty-two Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine employees received prizes in thanks for their donations to the 2018 Penn State Health United Way campaign. Those who contributed at least $182 per pay were entered into drawings for prizes that ranged from tickets to sports events to designated parking spaces.

Penn State Health and the College of Medicine raised $383,855 for United Way of the Capital Region, exceeding the goal of $375,000 by 2.36 percent. The pledges and donations also surpassed the 2017 fundraising total by 8 percent. More than 98 percent of the funds United Way of the Capital Region raises go directly to local services, reflecting the Penn State Health 2018 campaign theme “United with our Community.”
