On May 1, Dr. David Herzberg presented a lecture at Penn State College of Medicine titled "Psychoactive pharmaceuticals and addiction in U.S. history."
Penn State Clinical Simulation Center has recently purchased a copy of BodyViz, a 3D MRI and CT visualization software, and has made it available for use in the Harrell Health Sciences Library’s Technology Sandbox.
Penn State now has access to Scopus, a multidisciplinary abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed articles, books and chapters as well as conference proceedings.
Some of the resources available through Harrell Health Sciences Library can be accessed via app on a mobile device or tablet.

Family and Community Medicine residents in State College are taugh professionalism using the PACC model - person, act committed, circumstances, consequences - in order to help them better understand their own actions and potential consequences.
The Program Evaluation Committee of Penn State Health's Family and Community Medicine Residency in State College used a "Better Brainstorming" model to evaluate the program's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
