Dr. Kevin Black, vice dean of the College of Medicine’s University Park Regional Medical Campus and the C. McCollister Evarts Chair and Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, has been named the interim dean of the College of Medicine, effective July 1.

The College of Medicine presented degrees to 140 medical students, 86 graduate students and 27 physician assistants at its 49th annual commencement ceremony at Hershey Lodge May 18.
The Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship teaches Penn State College of Medicine students to be more empathetic physicians by working with the same patients for one year and developing strong connections.
