Become a Safety Coach
Hershey Medical Center’s Department of Patient Safety is looking for volunteers to serve as safety coaches. Safety coaches are frontline staff and physicians who provide peer-level support and real-time feedback about the use and compliance with our expected safety behaviors and error prevention tools. PTO/Vacation Donation Program
Mary Starry of Pediatrics Clinical Care has been approved for the primary PTO/Vacation Donation Program.
Employees interested in donating their Primary PTO hours may do so by going to mySolutions, search “PTO Donation” (log-in may be required) and submit it electronically.
Register for the Four Diamonds Conquer Run 5K by Saturday, Aug. 31 using the promo code WISDOM and receive $5 off the registration fee. The 5K run and fun walk is on Sunday, Oct. 20 and benefits Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Each participant will also receive one ticket to Hersheypark in the Dark.
Exercise as a Tool
Kathleen Sturgeon of Public Health Sciences will host a Research Quality Assurance Lunchtime Lecture entitled “Exercise As A Tool — A New Novel Approach For Your Molecular Mechanism”:

Erectile Dysfunction Discussion
Dr. Susan MacDonald, assistant professor of the Division of Urology at Penn State College of Medicine and urology medical director at Hershey Medical Center, is the keynote speaker for a seminar, “Signs, Symptoms and Treatment Options for Erectile Dysfunction”:
