Raman named chair of American Urological Association Office of Education

Jay Raman, MD, chief of the Division of Urology in the Department of Surgery at Penn State Health/Penn State College of Medicine, was selected by the American Urological Association (AUA) as the new chair of the AUA Office of Education.

In this role, Raman will lead the AUA Education Council and provide oversight to education initiatives. He will assume the role of chair-elect on June 1, 2020, and begin his four-year term as chair on June 1, 2021.

Raman is the Thomas J. Rohner Jr., MD, and Jessie F. Rohner, DrPH, Professor in Urology in the Department of Surgery and a member of Penn State Cancer Institute.
